Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental to how Paperify is built. Paperify does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.

1. Data Collection & Analytics

Paperify collects zero personal information. It does not contain telemetry, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers.

2. Local Storage Usage

Paperify uses Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) strictly on your device to remember:

• Your selected paper stock preset (e.g. Soft Linen, Velvet Soft).
• Your custom slider adjustments (grain opacity, warm tint, sepia, contrast).
• The ON/OFF toggle status.

This data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted over any network.

3. Web Content & Permissions

Paperify runs locally as a content script to apply visual CSS filters and an SVG paper texture overlay directly inside your browser window. Paperify does not read, record, transmit, or log the text, URLs, credentials, or content of any website you visit.

4. Remote Code & Third Parties

Paperify contains zero remote code. All scripts, stylesheets, and icons are bundled directly inside the extension package.
